Scanning is simple:

• Open ScanBolt and tap "Start Scanning"
• Point your camera at the document
• The app will automatically detect edges and capture
• Review, adjust if needed, and save

You can also import existing photos from your library using the "Import" button.

ScanBolt supports multiple export formats:

• PDF - Perfect for documents, supports multi-page
• JPG - Standard image format for photos
• PNG - High-quality image with transparency support

OCR (Optical Character Recognition) extracts text from your scanned documents:

• Scan or select a document
• Tap the "Extract Text" or OCR button
• The app will process the image and display the text
• Copy the text to use anywhere

OCR works best with clear, well-lit documents. Pro users get unlimited OCR extractions.

The free version includes:

• 5 document scans per day
• All filters (Auto, B&W, Grayscale, High Contrast)
• PDF and image export
• Basic document organization

Upgrade to Pro for unlimited scans, OCR, iCloud sync, and more.

To cancel your subscription:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone
• Tap your name at the top
• Tap Subscriptions
• Find ScanBolt and tap it
• Tap Cancel Subscription

Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds directly—please contact Apple for refund requests.

If you've previously purchased Pro and need to restore it:

• Open ScanBolt
• Go to Settings
• Tap "Restore Purchases"

Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. If you still have issues, contact us.

Absolutely. Your privacy is our priority:

• All documents are stored locally on your device
• We never upload or access your scanned documents
• OCR processing happens on-device
• iCloud sync uses your personal iCloud storage (if enabled)

For the best scan quality:

• Ensure good lighting (natural light works best)
• Hold your phone steady or use a surface
• Keep the document flat without wrinkles
• Make sure the camera lens is clean
• Wait for auto-focus before the capture

Yes! ScanBolt works completely offline. You can:

• Scan documents
• Apply filters
• Extract text with OCR
• Export and share files

An internet connection is only needed for iCloud sync and subscription verification.
